We started out running our own e-commerce stores and lead generation operations. Along the way, we also worked as affiliates for high-risk brands — betting, adult, supplements, financial products. We didn't study this space, we ground through it.
Out of that experience, we built wakeupmedia.io — an ad account agency that has processed over $50M in ad spend across platforms. That operation gave us an unmatched view of what works, what gets flagged, and how the platforms actually behave under the hood.
Over five years of running ad accounts for high-risk clients, we saw a clear gap: nobody was offering the full infrastructure. Brands were piecing together fragmented solutions — a freelancer for creatives, a tool for tracking, a different agency for accounts. The result was chaos, bans, and wasted spend.
So we built Almea — a single operating system for high-risk advertising. Our first clients came from the wakeupmedia.io network. Word spread. They referred us. And through a combination of client results and our own marketing, the agency grew into what it is today.
